Equipe de rugby du Pays de Galles

Grande nation du rugby, le XV du poireau s'est constitué un beau palmarès au fil de sa longue histoire débutée en 1880. Les Dragons ont remporté 26 fois le Tournoi dont 11 Grands Chelems ce qui en fait à ce jour l'équipe la plus titrée dans cette compétition devant l'Angleterre et la France.  Elle fut également demi-finaliste de la Coupe du Monde de Rugby en 1987 et 2011 où elle s'inclina de justesse face au XV de France.

L'âge d'or du rugby gallois fut incontestablement la décénnie 70 où ils remportèrent 8 tournoi des V Nations.
